Illustrator Samantha Eynon is, along with her husband, the proud owner of Rhubarb, a VW Camper Van which takes them away on lots of lovely trips. Her favourite vegetables are parsnips and the mighty sweet potato, and unfortunately that is where our fruit-n-veg facts dry up.
However, we do know that Samantha is a huge music fan who loves going to gigs. And we also know that she has a huge hankering for a Pug, or maybe a Boston Terrier, or possibly a French Bulldog – ‘if one’s going spare I’ll happily take it off your hands!’ Read on to find out more.
Tell us a bit about yourself…
I’m a freelance artist, illustrator and workshop facilitator based in the Midlands in the UK. I graduated from Staffordshire University in 2008 with a first class degree in Fine Art. I also work under the moniker ‘littlegamgee’.
I am inspired by a whole host of things including music, literature, animals, fashion, surf culture, anime, comic books and all things cute!
What’s your favourite piece of work you have produced?
I couldn’t really pick, it’s normally the last piece of work that I create, as hopefully I improve all the time!
I adore the work of Toki Doki, Gregg Abbott, Jared Andew Schorr, Helen Dardik and The Tree House Press to name but a few.
