With decorations as pretty as these by Hannah Latham, it seems a shame that Christmas baubles are only on display for such a tiny portion of the year.
Says Hannah: ‘The first Christmas memory that pops into my head was attempting to play charades with my granny. She just did a chicken impression and growled – turns out her topic was Beauty and the Beast. Needless to say, nobody guessed. I still don’t think she really understands the point in the game. Also, my mum’s old fat cat got stuck, head first, in a swivel top bin one Christmas; he was attempting to fish out a sausage roll. We only realised when we heard a meow whilst eating dinner and noticed his legs poking out of the top of the bin!’
