Tell us a bit about yourself…
I am currently in my final year at university, studying Graphic Communications (BA Hons). I have a passion for design and a love for all pretty things. I have specialised mainly in illustration and branding in my final year, with my work focused towards the fashion industry.
If I am not working on my design or illustration work, you will most likely find me watching a film or catching up with my friends.
What are your inspirations?
I am inspired by the beauty of the female form, floral patterns and fashion are a big influence to my work. I like to design and illustrate work which is pleasing to the eye, the majority of my work is very feminine. Texture and fabrics play an important part in my work as this is what essentially makes or breaks my final design pieces.
What’s your favourite piece of work you produced?
My favourite piece of current work is the magazine I produced for my specialist pathways brief. It was called Unveil and is a magazine for fashion and creative arts focusing on people and their creativity. It was designed to be a bespoke quarterly published magazine, and it used a mixture of specialist papers, textured and fabric. It was hand bound and is contained inside a hand cut plastic case.
