Opportunity: The Guardian search for the U.K.’s best young creatives

The Guardian has started a nationwide search to find the U.K.’s best young creatives in the advertising industry.

The competition is open to anyone who works in advertising in four specialist sectors: print, cyber, marketing and media. The newspaper are offering successful applicants a once-in-a-lifetime chance to go to Cannes and showcase their work to some of the world’s key players in the industries.

Anyone can enter the competition: simply apply on-line for a brief and then, within 48 hours, prepare a pitch for the judging team to assess. The chosen candidates will then represent the U.K. in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2012.

The deadline for on-line registration is 13 March. The competition is open to those aged 28 and under.

The Cannes Lions Festival will run between 17-23 June 2012.
