Quintessentially Quentin: a celebration of Mr Blake’s work

It was announced earlier this week that the legendaryย Quentin Blake has been made a knight on the 2013 New Year Honours’ List.

Best known for his various collaborations with Roald Dahl, Blake has illustrated over 300 books, including works by David Walliams, Elizabeth Bowen and Joan Aiken. The exuberance of his drawings – the sheer magic he manages to create with every stroke on the page – have made him one of the world’s best-loved illustrators.

In honour of Quentin’s, er, honour, we’ve gathered together a totally eclectic selection of his work, spanning everything from illustrations to greeting cards. Enjoy!
